Information & Digital Technology

IDT offers training opportunities to students who are interested in designing web pages, software and games, creating programs, systems and databases, networking computers and finding solutions to technical and software problems. Students concentrate on developing a range of fundamental skills required to prepare them to work effectively in an environment where information technology is used. These include oral and written communication, teamwork, occupational health and safety and the efficient use of a range of software applications and computer hardware.

The IDT course provides a pathway to the qualification of Statement of Attainment towards Certificate III in Information, Digital Media and Technology (ICA30111).

There is a compulsory structured work placement integrated into this course work.
